Not only is it a great movie, but apparently it was awesomely marketed as well. Kaneisha replied to my earlier post saying she’d seen “segregation ads” in LA this summer, so I had to find out what she was talking about. Turns out, Sony bought ad space on bus benches all around LA, declaring the benches “For Humans Only”. It caused Kaneisha, and I’m sure countless others, to go see the movie to figure out what THAT was all about. What a great, buzz-generating idea, and a fresh-use of an older-than-dirt medium (who says new media is always the answer to everything?).
